Short version: we log the bare minimum needed to know whether the site works. No third-party trackers, no ad networks, no fingerprinting.

What we collect

Page view logs. One row per request, recording the path, the referer, the user-agent, the country code (from the IP, then discarded), a session ID (random, expires at the end of your session), and the bot name if the user-agent matches a known LLM crawler (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, etc.). We use this to see which pages get read and which routes are referenced by AI search engines.
Early-access email list.If you submit your email via the “Notify me” form, we store the address, the path you were on when you submitted, your country (from the IP, then discarded), and the timestamp. We do NOT currently send any recurring email or automated drip. The list exists so we can reach out once if and when we ship something material (a paid tier, an API, a track-record milestone). Disposable / throwaway email domains are rejected at submission. To request deletion of your address, email editor@nivestor.xyz; we delete within seven days.

What we do not collect

No third-party analytics (no Google Analytics, no Plausible).
No advertising identifiers, no remarketing pixels.
No cross-site cookies.
No browser fingerprinting (canvas, WebGL, font enumeration, audio).
No IP addresses stored after the country lookup.

Cookies

We set one short-lived first-party session cookie (nv_sid) that is regenerated each time you visit. It is not used for cross-site tracking, has no advertising value, and expires within an hour of inactivity.

Third parties

Cloudflare DNS. Resolves nivestor.xyz to our GCP origin. Standard DNS resolution; no proxy mode.
Let’s Encrypt. Issues the TLS certificate.
We do not pass user data to any third-party processor for analytics or marketing.

Your rights

To delete your email from the early-access list, write to editor@nivestor.xyz. To request deletion of any page-view rows that may contain your session, write to the same address. We respond within seven days.
